Ken Chandler
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Ken Chandler is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Bristol Bay Services, an enterprise platform of Bristol Bay Native Corporation. He is responsible for operating the enterprise as a single platform — twenty-three operating companies and more than 1,750 team members generating over $500 million in annual revenue across four service lines: Integrated Solutions, Health Solutions, Professional & Technical Solutions, and Facilities & Environmental Solutions.
In this role, Ken leads enterprise performance and the operating cadence; the growth organization spanning business development, capture, and proposal operations; and operational due diligence and post-close integration for acquisitions. He also directs the company's deliberate expansion beyond its government-services roots into commercial, state and local, and adjacent services markets. His mandate is to translate Board and shareholder direction into operating plans the businesses can execute, and to hold leaders accountable to them without diminishing the authority that makes each company effective.
Ken has spent more than two decades advancing through leadership roles within the Bristol Bay Native Corporation family of companies. He began in senior operations and proposal development roles across the SpecPro Technical Services group, where his responsibilities grew include division leadership and oversight of capture and proposal operations for a thirteen-company, $200 million portfolio.
Ken later advanced to General Manager of Vista Defense Technologies, Eagle Integrated Services, Vista Innovative Solutions, and MedPro Technologies. In these roles, he grew a single company with $308,000 in revenue into a three-company group generating more than $151 million and returned MedPro to profitability within twelve months of inheriting a projected $1 million annual loss. Building on this experience, Ken became Group Vice President and General Manager of the Technical Services Division, overseeing four general managers and eleven operating companies before assuming his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Ken began his career as an officer in the United States Air Force, separating at the rank of captain. He served as a project manager in the Human Systems Program Office at Brooks City-Base, Texas, where he led the development and fielding of aircrew protective equipment and life-support systems for combat aircraft.
Ken holds a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Space Operations and Mathematics from the United States Air Force Academy.
Ken is a member and volunteer at Shepherd of the Hills Christian Fellowship in Startzville, Texas, and lives in the San Antonio area with his family.
